About me
After completing a 4-year Psychology Degree at Murdoch University in 2014, I gained an Advanced Diploma in Creative Arts Therapy through the IKON institute.
In 2018, I returned to study to complete my Psychology Registration and then provided support to individuals through the 4+2 internship program. I am currently registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Psychologist. I am also currently completing my Masters of Sexology at Curtin University.
Today, I work in my own private practice by engaging in different areas of interest, including supporting young people, supporting children and their families, parental support, bariatric clients, LGBTQI+ support,
I am hugely passionate about helping others express themselves through creative means and in gaining deeper insight into the subconscious through different creative approaches. It is through this practice that clinical assessment, diagnosis and intervention have become part of my specialisation and a genuine set of professional interests.
I have always been intrigued by the mind and in understanding the reasons behind peoples actions. I take special interest in supporting young people and LGBTQI+ community members in cases requiring early intervention, mental health and neuro-divergence through the use of art therapy as a tool to facilitate insights and an integrated experiences.
Prioritising mind, body and self-connection is very important to me. I use my experience and expertise to offer support to others and know that discovering skills and learning to support ourselves is vitally important for self reliance, independence and personal growth.
As a member of the LGBTQI+ community, I believe in supporting others on their journey of self-discovery and I am passionate about facilitating a safe space for individuals to learn about who they are, develop their skills and build confidence.
